Announcing Version 0.9.6 Release Candidate 2
Announcing the availability of Version 0.9.6 Release Candiate 2. Now works with version 1.8a (trunk) of the Mozilla suite. Previous versions had a problem with Mozilla suite trunk.

Install habarixenu-0.9.6rc2. Xpi link doesn't work.

Hi,

I click on the 0.9.6rc2-xpi link on this page : http://www.livejournal.com/users/habarixenu/

The browser opens this popup window : "Opening habarixenu-0.9.6rc2.xpi. ... The file is of type application/x-xpinstall, and Mozilla does not know how to handle this file type. This file is located at http://openscroll.org/lj/v0.9.6/.
What should Mozilla do with this file ? Open it with the default application ? Open it with ? Save it to disk ? "

I don't get the expected popup box telling me that the web site asks for installing permission.

On the same page, installation from the link "stable 0.9.5 version" works well.

My browser is Mozilla 1.7.5.

Have you any idea ?

Do not click on the first link. Instead, right click on it and select 'Save Link As'. This enables you to save the XPI locally to your hard disk. Then, open up the XPI as File - Open. This will begin the installation.
